Tuition: Discounts are given to students taking 2 or more classes. Single Classes for non-registered students are $15.00 per class. Please call the studio for Tuition rates.
Pay the year in full and receive a 10% Discount
Tuition Policy: Tuition can be paid by Cash, check or charge and is based on a ten month period (Sept-June). All holidays have been taken into consideration. No refunds or adjustments will be made for school closings, sickness, or excused absences.
Registration: $20 registration fee is due at time of registration. ($25. registration fee for families of two or more dancers).
Late Fee: A $25. Late fee will automatically be added to all payments that are not made by the due date. No exceptions. Bills are only generated if payments are past due or as a reminder for additional payments that will be due on your account. There will be a $25.00 fee for all returned checks.
Refund Policy: All Registration Fees, Tuition, Costume Deposits, Balances etc…are non Refundable. Unused Merchandise can only be returned with a receipt in exchange for studio credit ONLY.
Class Adjustments: Classes with 5 or less students are subject to cancellation or shortening of the class to 45 mins.
Recital: Platinum Performance offers an annual Recital which will be held in late June. Our recital is not mandatory however it is strongly encouraged. Participating students must purchase the mandatory costume for each class. All students must remain backstage for the entire show. For the safety of your child, no students are allowed to leave during the show or intermission. Parents are only allowed to go backstage and pick up their child once the show has finished.
All accounts must be paid in full by May 15th in order for your child to participate in the Recital.
Costumes: A costume payment for each classes's costume is due in November. As a reminder, a notice will be mailed to your home with additional information. Costume prices range from $65-$85 (Not including company costumes). Some costumes may require slight alterations.
Dress Rehearsal: A Mandatory Dress Rehearsal for the Recital will be held in late May or early June. This gives your child the opportunity to practice their dance onstage in costume before the Recital. As a reminder, a notice will be mailed with additional class information in May.
Picture Day: A professional photographer will be available to take an individual and class picture(s) of your child in each of their costume(s). Specific class information will be mailed out in May. Individual pictures are not mandatory.
Attendance: Punctual, consistent attendance & proper dance attire is expected of all PPDA students. NO REFUNDS or credits will be given for missed classes or school closings. Please notify the studio if your child will be late or absent.
Make-up Classes: Absences due to absence, illness, or Religious Holiday should be taken within two months of the missed class(s). Please check with your instructor or Director for recommendations.

Awards: All students who participate in the Recital consecutively will receive a: 3 Years Ribbon, 5 Year Trophy, and a 10 Year Trophy. All students with 100 % attendance in at least one class will receive a perfect attendance award, (make-up classes do not apply). Check postings in the studio for Ribbon, Trophy and Perfect attendance updates.
Dress Code: Hair must be securely tied back off the face for all classes. (Ask Instructor for specific requirements.)
Dress Attire:
All Combo Classes (Ages 2 ½ - 6): Leotard of any color and tights. Shoes: Black Tap Shoes & Pink Ballet Slippers.
Ballet (Grades 1-3): Leotard of any color, pink tights, and a ballet skirt. Hair must be worn in a bun. Shoes: Pink Ballet shoes.
Ballet & Pointe (Grdaes 4-12 and ALL Companies) : Black Leotard, pink or black tights and a ballet skirt. Hair must be worn in a Bun. Shoes: Pink canvas split sole Ballet shoes. Please speak to the Director or Instructor for Pointe shoe requirements.
Acrobatics, Tumble4Tots & Cheer/Tumble: Leotard, footless tights or tight fitting clothing may be worn. Shoes: No Shoes. (Sneakers for Cheer/Tumble)
Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap: Leotard, tights or tight fitting clothing may be worn. Shoes: Please ask your Instructor for specific class requirements.
Conduct: Students, parents, & teachers are expected to conduct themselves with respect for each other at all times. Teachers can refuse to allow a child to continue in a class if their behavior, or dress attire is deemed inappropriate.
Parent Observation: Parents are welcome to watch their child’s dance class at any time. If you are distracting your child we ask that you please step away from the window or door.
Photo Release: Platinum Performance reserves the right to use photos of the students for brochures, advertisements, website and other promotional materials. Please speak to the Director if you have any concerns.
PPDA reserves the right to alter or cancel a class at anytime and is not responsible for loss of personal property or injuries that may occur on the premises or at any PPDA event.
